Apex Engine Community Hub
Apex Community Hub: Empowering Our Community, Shaping the Future
In our “Building a Community for Apex Engine” article, we talked about the importance of putting creators first, because Apex Engine has always been more than just software. It's a movement toward accessible, collaborative, and community-driven development.
Now, we're excited to unveil the Apex Community Hub (Apex Hub), the next evolution in that mission.
The Apex Community Hub is a dedicated space for our Founders, clients, developers, Patrons, and supporters, a central hub that strengthens the connection between the community and the engine they’re helping to build.
To support our growing community and keep everything organized and accessible, we’re building a seamlessly interconnected ecosystem. From our main website to the Apex Hub, each platform is designed to work together, allowing users to move effortlessly between their private and public profile pages, the Community Hub, our official Discord server, the Apex Marketplace, and team collaboration tools.
What is the Apex Community Hub?
The Apex Hub is a community portal and ecosystem integrated into ApexEngine.com by TGS.Tech. While the platform itself is developed and maintained by TGS Tech, the content within it belongs to the community, giving our developers, Founders, Patrons, and supporters a place to share their work, ideas, and insights on their own terms.
It’s a space built for showcasing creativity, encouraging collaboration, and supporting one another, all while helping shape the future of Apex Engine.
Whether you're part of an independent team, a full studio, or just getting started solo, these connections will make it easier to stay organized, manage your projects, access resources, and connect with others, all from one unified environment.
Why We’re Building This
Community is at the heart of every great product- and every great company. Over the years, we've seen firsthand how vital a strong, connected community is to a product’s success. Our belief in this isn't theoretical, it's personal, and it’s proven.
Our experience goes back decades: from helping build the HeroEngine community in 2015, to contributing to the IGN Community, to supporting player networks for games like Vanguard: Saga of Heroes and even the original Battle.net nearly 30 years ago. These experiences have taught us one thing above all else:
A product may be built by a company, but it thrives because of its community.
That’s why the Apex Hub exists: not as a corporate product showcase, but as a real place where developers, players, clients, and creators can connect, support one another, and grow. We’re committed to keeping the focus on people, creativity, and collaboration, not just the business side of tech.
Here’s what the Hub brings to the table, for current users, early adopters, and those just getting started:
Participate in the Future of Apex Engine
The Hub directly ties the community to the development and future release of Apex Engine. Our clients, developers, and supporters can contribute feedback, test new features, and be part of development discussions starting with Apex Lite.
Early Access to Pilot Programs and Tools
Founders, Patrons, and verified community members will get early access to the Apex Engine Pilot Programs starting mid to late 2026, as well as early builds and previews of:
- Apex Founders & Patreon - a community-driven support tier with extended and exclusive access to features, early content, and development previews,
- Apex Lite - our standalone, offline world-builder and prototyping platform,
- Apex Marketplace - a digital space for creators to share, buy, and sell assets and tools,
- Full Apex Engine - the cloud-based real-time collaborative platform.
This gives our community a hands-on role in shaping these tools while getting a head start on their own creative visions. Stay tuned for more information on these programs and tools in the upcoming months.
To stay informed, the community can keep an eye on our current development, which can be found on our Apex Engine Roadmap. Once we enter Alpha development, we’ll launch a new page with monthly changelogs and update notes, so everyone can follow along with our progress in real time.
Showcase and Promote Your Projects
Every Founder and verified community member will be able to create public-facing project pages. These can serve as portfolios, development blogs, or marketing pages- all in one place. Plus, they’re easy to share across platforms, making it simple to promote your work and attract new audiences.
Connect and Collaborate with Other Creators
The Hub will include networking tools to find help, offer services, or recruit collaborators. Whether you’re looking for animation assistance, physics devs, or just peer feedback- this is your go-to space.
Learn and Grow with Developer Tutorials and Help
Community-submitted tutorials, walkthroughs, and best practices will be featured alongside official guides. This allows everyone, from newcomers to veterans, to grow and support each other through shared knowledge.
Community-Supported Help System
The Hub will include a hybrid support system, blending official support from TGS Tech staff with help and guidance from the community itself. Quick answers, shared experiences, and problem-solving made faster through collaboration.
What Makes the Apex Hub Unique?
Unlike traditional developer portals or forums, the Apex Hub is being built as an extension of the engine itself. This means it’s adaptable, integrated, and designed to grow alongside our community and platform.
Key advantages:
- Early access to tools, features, and pilot programs
- Visibility for your projects, tools, and work
- Networking and hiring opportunities within the Apex ecosystem
- Feedback channels that directly influence engine development
- Marketplace-ready project pages to support monetization and discovery
- Long-term support for community-driven education and collaboration
A Living Space for a Living Engine
The Apex Hub is built with the same philosophy that powers Apex Engine: real-time, real people, real results. It’s about giving everyone, from studios to solo devs, the opportunity to grow together, support one another, and build the future.
This is your community. This is your engine. This is your Hub.
Whether you're here to build worlds, share knowledge, or get inspired, the Apex Hub is ready for you.
Stay tuned for upcoming announcements, and don’t forget to reserve your space when the Hub goes live.
