Dev Log: November Post-Show
Foundational work, infrastructure strengthening, and Apex Hub progress
It has been busy here at TGS Tech as we near the end of the year, our focus has remained on stability, foundation, and forward momentum. After an intensive October filled with multiple Tech Week events and culminating in NVIDIA GTC DC and Apex Engine, November became a necessary month of consolidation. The conversations, insights, and connections from those events directly shaped our priorities, especially our renewed focus on infrastructure, security, and community engagement.
November itself was deeply foundational. We advanced the Apex Hub toward launch, continued preparing Legacy for reactivation, strengthened our overall security posture, and refined investor materials based on the feedback and momentum built in October. Much of this work has been quiet but meaningful, reinforcing the structural components that support our broader roadmap. These combined efforts place us in a strong position as we move into the new year.
1. Platform and Engine Development
Our core engine work continues to lay down the systems that Apex relies on as it grows. These updates keep the foundation stable while we prepare for the next round of larger features.
Apex Engine
- Continued reviewing and testing Havok Physics, Cloth, Navigation, and Simulation components.
- Updated internal notes for the States System Editor and Physics Simulation Editor to support upcoming integration phases.
- Performed pipeline planning for asset conditioning improvements.
- Completed maintenance updates to reduce future technical debt.
Apex Lite
- No major milestone updates this month due to resource focus on the Apex Hub, Legacy preparations, and investor materials.
- Internal design notes were refined for the next phase once development resources resume.
2. Apex Connect: Community Hub
This remained a primary focus during November. The Hub is becoming the central place for our community, so a lot of attention went into refining how it feels and functions. It is quickly taking shape as the gateway for creators, players, and future supporters.
Functional & UI Progress
- Completed the new Hub layout for community streams, member visual grids, and project showcases.
- Polished the login module and authentication layout.
- Updated modules for images, videos, and project spotlight sections.
- Conducted testing across desktop and mobile devices.
- Implemented fixes for layout responsiveness and navigation behaviors.
Server & Security Work
- Performed backend testing to verify stability under expected user activity.
- Improved session handling and strengthened security rules.
- Updated access controls and backend protections in preparation for controlled onboarding.
Remaining Work
- Mobile optimization improvements.
- Final UI/UX refinements.
- Preparing the onboarding flow for the upcoming Founders/Patreon launch.
3. Legacy Platform (Internal Preparation)
Legacy is moving closer to a quiet internal reactivation, which required careful preparation behind the scenes. The work here sets the stage for reconnecting with past clients and restoring a platform people have been waiting for.
- Prepared infrastructure steps for a private internal relaunch with past clients.
- Evaluated required cleanup work to restore and modernize the environment.
- Organized server configuration notes so activation can begin quickly once resources are available.
- Assessed what is needed for a future, more polished public re-release.
4. Infrastructure + Security
We put real effort into strengthening the systems that keep everything running safely. With more public-facing activity on the horizon, reinforcing our infrastructure became a priority.
- Investigated the GoDaddy account intrusion and recent financial fraud incident.
- Submitted updates to FBI/IC3 and prepared documents supporting a potential insurance review.
- Strengthened authentication, recovery, and access controls across all company systems.
- Performed additional server-side reviews to support upcoming Apex Hub deployment.
5. Funding + Investor Strategy
Investor outreach and preparation continued to evolve this month as we refined how we present the company and the raise. Clear messaging is helping set the stage for the next phase of growth.
- Finalized SAFE language and revised Use of Proceeds for the current raise.
- Prepared messaging for both the core round and expanded option.
- Developed clean, investor-ready explanations for:
- The Apex Hub community and engagement strategy
- The Legacy activation path
- Apex Engine’s long-term value and cross-industry reach
- Drafted outreach materials for local angels and warm introductions.
- Refined concise, direct responses for investor meetings.
6. Legal + IP Work
A portion of the month went into organizing and responding to ongoing IP and legal matters. Keeping this area solid is important for protecting our work and maintaining long-term stability.
Much of Friday and Saturday was absorbed by renewed Laniatus/Alex-related issues.
- Compiled additional documentation, screenshots, and historical files relevant to the ongoing case.
- Updated the timeline and evidence packet for future filings.
- Confirmed that previous complaints and filings would be accessible in the new submission.
- Cleaned up headers, file names, and structure for attorney review.
7. Community Engagement + Writing
We kept active in the broader tech and innovation community, which always brings new insights and connections. Writing and content updates continued as well, helping us stay visible and engaged.
- Participated in local innovation and tech gatherings.
- Engaged in deep discussions with technologists and entrepreneurs.
- Received positive feedback for subject knowledge in health technology and systems design.
- Continued writing and editing website articles for Apex Engine.
- Maintained practice in Mandarin vocabulary and reading.
8. Operations
There was plenty of behind-the-curtain cleanup and organization to keep things moving smoothly. These smaller operational tasks are what keep the company functional while development continues.
- Cleaned investor mailing lists and improved pipeline tracking.
- Reorganized documents affected by account intrusions.
- Conducted daily Apex Hub tests from both mobile and desktop.
