A Memorable Evening at Big Idea CONNECTpreneur
A Memorable Evening at Big Idea CONNECTpreneur
Last Monday’s Big Idea CONNECTpreneur event in McLean, Virginia, was an incredible experience, hosted by the ever-inspiring Tien Wong of Opus8. TGS Tech and Apex Engine were proud to participate in this vibrant gathering of innovators, which spotlighted 3D interactive technology, cloud-based platforms, real-time collaboration, digital training simulations, and the future of emerging markets.
Discussions explored exciting topics such as game development, AR/VR, simulation, interactive design, networking, business growth, and advancements like digital twins, AI tools, and collaborative software. Key partnerships were forged with industry leaders including Merrill Lynch, M&T Bank, Peak 15 Capital, and Potomac Biz Group, further solidifying TGS Tech’s position as a leader in tech startups, interactive applications, and industry innovation.
The event was a hub of insightful conversations and meaningful connections. One particularly impactful discussion was with Layla Atya of Zala, who shared her vision for building digital training simulations for rescue operations. Her work is both inspiring and practical, and it left me hopeful that Apex Engine, once it’s ready, will make a meaningful impact across multiple emerging markets in the 3D interactive space.
I was also truly honored to receive an invitation to join the Asian American Chamber of Commerce, extended by Cindy Shao and Michael Chung. Their tireless efforts in supporting our business community are admirable, and I look forward to contributing as a member. Organizations like the AACC are essential in fostering growth, collaboration, and opportunities for businesses like ours.
We want to give a well-deserved shoutout to M&T Bank, Peak 15 Capital, and Potomac Biz Group. Your ongoing contributions and support are helping pave the way for TGS Tech’s growth and future success. A special thank you to Michael Reyes, First Vice President of Merrill Lynch, for reaffirming Merrill Lynch’s continued investment in TGS Tech. Michael’s support was both reassuring and energizing, opening several new doors for us and helping strengthen existing connections.
Events like Big Idea CONNECTpreneur are a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration, innovation, and community in achieving great things. I left feeling more inspired than ever and eager to see how these new relationships will shape the future of Apex Engine and our collective goals.
To everyone I met and spoke with—thank you. I look forward to staying connected and to seeing even more of you at the next event!
