Sharing the Vision Behind Apex Engine2026 04 12 AACC Member spotlight 01

On Friday, April 10, 2026, TGS Tech founder and CEO Sarrene Miller participated as a featured presenter at the Asian American Chamber of Commerce Spotlight Circle, held at the AACC Fairfax office in Fair Lakes. The session brought together a curated group of AACC members and guests in an intimate roundtable format, with an extended audience joining via webinar.

The Spotlight Circle is designed to give members a focused opportunity to share who they are, what they do, and what they are building, without the noise of a traditional networking event. Each presenter has six to eight minutes to speak with clarity and intention. The format rewards substance over spectacle, and the atmosphere in the room reflected that. The session was calm, relaxed, and genuinely engaged.

With over two decades of production infrastructure behind the platform, and enterprise clients ranging from major game studios to Boeing and the US Department of Defense, the presentation offered a view of real-time collaborative 3D development that most attendees had not encountered before.

The discussion touched on what sets Apex Engine apart architecturally, its cloud-native, authoritative, live collaborative model, and what that means practically for the teams and industries it serves. Sarrene also introduced Apex CoCast, TGS Tech's second platform currently in active development, giving attendees an early look at where the ecosystem is heading.

The hybrid format worked well. The in-person group at the Fairfax office kept the conversation grounded and personal, while the webinar component extended the reach of each presentation to AACC members and guests who could not attend in person.

The group spanned industries from professional photography and financial services to specialized insurance, reflecting the breadth of the AACC membership and the range of businesses it supports. What stood out was not just the variety of fields represented but the genuine enthusiasm each presenter brought to their work. These were not rehearsed pitches. They were honest accounts of why people chose the path they are on and what keeps them committed to it.

That personal dimension is what made the session memorable. Hearing a photographer talk about why they do what they do carries a different weight than a business card ever could. The same was true across every presentation in the room. Each person articulated not just a service or a product but a reason, a purpose behind the work that gave the audience something real to connect with. That is the kind of exchange the Spotlight Circle format is built for, and on April 10 it delivered exactly that.

TGS Tech values its relationship with the Asian American Chamber of Commerce and the community it represents. Events like the Spotlight Circle are a reminder that the most meaningful professional connections are built not through volume but through clarity, knowing what you are building, why it matters, and being willing to say so directly in a room full of people doing the same.

We look forward to continuing to grow alongside the AACC community.
